1. My real and complete name is: Abigail Dalawangbayan Ruidera. If you're reading this: Love that name or i'll kick your butt.
2. Birthday: January 8, 1986, so technically i'm still 19 years old.
3. I live in a two-storey (or maybe 3 if you consider the attic as another floor) house in a suburbian place here in Las Pinas. My room is colored pink and I love sleeping in my yellow bed (I really don't believe in color coordination).
4. I bruise (pasa) everytime my blood is taken. I have a nasty black and blue one on my arm.
5. I studied at Divine Light Academy for 12 years (from preschool to high school). Don't ask me why I stayed there, basta I did.
6. I resigned as Class President when I was in 1st year high school. I even submitted a formal resignation letter to our class adviser.
7. I appeared on Channel [V] when I was in 2nd year high school. I requested for this song: Agent Orange by Slapshock My name was misspelled (It should by A-B-I not A-b-b-y). Dang!
8. I appeared on Channel 2 - Sunday TV Mass during my elementary years. I saw Aiza Seguerra and Kathleen Go-Kieng. I was with our school's choir that time kaya ako nakasama. I wore my school uniform and hideous bloody red lipstick. I looked like a trying hard whore. Dang!
9. I was interviewed in Angelo Palmones' radio program: "Bago Yan Ah!" together with my two schoolmates, Cyreene and Isobelle. We were there because of our "very innovative" investigatory project: Fly trap made from Crushed Pineapple and Gumamela Extract. Innovative nga!
10. I had 4 boyfriend(ssss) in the past. One was from UP Los Banos (when I was in 2nd year high school), one was from Adamson (3rd year high), one from TIP (3rd year college) and one (very, very recent) from UA&P (pretty boy!).
11. I have one bestfriend, we're super close hanggang ngayon. Her name is Stephanie Monique Del Rosario. She lives in Cadena de Amor St, just four blocks (apat na kanto) away from my house. She's currently studying at Mapua and is very happy with her boyfriend (oops, fiance pala) Jonas. Bes!
12. I enrolled in an acting workshop in CCP way way before. I made some friends there (Patricia, Alex, Georgina...). Meron na ata akong clasmmate na naging artista. Si Derna Olivia Patricio or Den-Den who appeared in Filipinas as the wife of Victor Neri. My mentor, Ms. Sherry Lara, appeared in movies: Crying Ladies (Eric Quizon's mom) and in Azucena.
13. I'm currently a senior BS Biology student in the University of the Philippines (Manila). Just a few more units and I'll be graduating next year (hopefully!).
14. I plan to take up medicine after. So I have more or less 6 years of schooling left.
15. I want to be either: a forensic scientist like Gil Grissom in CSI or... a neurologist (kinda like my grandfather - my grandmother's brother, Dr. Leovigildo Isabela, resident neurosurgeon in UST Hospital)
16. I dream of becoming filthy rich. After I reach that "dream," I'll become a barrio doctor and give up all the luxuries I have. :p
17. I love to cook. I love to try new stuffs sa kitchen, and wellll.. my family loves my cooking, so I must be good!
18. I'm a home-buddy. I don't like going out much.
19. I smoked before (pero hindi po ako chain-smoker), siguro one stick pag may problema (huwaaaat?). Pero ndi na ngayon. Good girl na po ako.
20. I don't drink cuz I'm allergic to any alcoholic beverage (I'll die if I eat fruit cake).
So there.

A Love Story
There was once a girl who loved a guy so much. Painful break-ups, funny encounters, name every event and the girl was there for him. The guy appreciated the girl's effort and tried to reciprocate the girl's feelings. But there was a huge problem, even if they have special relationship with each other, they can't be together, for the guy loved somebody else... Greater than what he felt for the girl who was always there. But the girl didn't mind, for as long as they talked and bonded, she sticked around, even if it killed her inside.
Years passed and they kept in touch until one day, the girl just stopped talking to the guy. She changed her number and moved out of her house. The guy was confused and looked for the girl. But nobody knew where she was. Her parents refused to talk to him and her friends didn't know her where-abouts.
A month had passed and the guy gave up in searching for the girl. He moved on from the loss and lived his life back again.
Days, weeks, and months had gone by and it was nearing christmas day.
The guy received a card from the girl. He read it and here's what the girl said to him:
"By the time you reach this card, I'm probably gone now. I'm sorry I didn't fight for my feelings for you. I was always there waiting for you but you never came. I hope you'll be happy with her because that's what I always wanted. Your hapiness..."
Thinking that it was just a cruel trick played on him, he went to the girl's house to demand for an explanation. But instead of finding the girl there, her lifeless body lying on a casket was all he found. Her parents explained to him that the girl suffered from leukemia. Her parents gave the guy all the letters the girl wrote for him when she was in the hospital.
He read them all and tears fell because he made a mistake. He didn't realize how much the girl loved him. He blamed himself for being a jerk. The girl never complained for every pain that the guy caused him. She was always there, waiting.
If only tears can bring her back... If only....

Another post
Hay. I'm so unproductive today. Eto lang ang nagawa ko for today:
1. Natapos ang bagong lay-out (Yay!)
2. Kumain at nagluto
3. Nanood ng t.v.
4. Nanood ng t.v.
5. Nanood ng t.v.
Unproductive no? Ok lang yan. Di nga ako nakokonsensya eh, paano naman puro trabaho ako last week. Walang pahinga, pati Sabado may trabaho sa thesis. Hay. I have a nasty one nga ngayon eh dahil nagpakuha ako ng dugo yesterday. Hay. I maybe sick with leukemia. Nah..
Ei guys, if you're reading this, please pray for my little cousin. He has Hirschsprung's disease (Please click the link for more information), oh wait, icoconfirm pa tomorrow kung yun nga. Problemado nga yung parents niya dahil 3 years old pa lang siya tas doctors will have to cut him up agad. Hay. I really love him so much and I hate to see him suffer. Tas tomorrow, he'll undergo colonoscopy. Hay. Sana hindi na lang siya yung nagkaganun. Hay. We were looking forward to his program sa school this Saturday. He'll be reciting "Little Boy Blue" sa school. Hay. I sure hope and pray na wala siyang grabeng sakit. :c
Ayun. Yun po muna. :)

New Lay-out
Finally, I finished the new lay-out. I downloaded this skin from Blogskins and tweeked it a bit. The original skin was "Vintage Apples" and I don't think my blog is not about Apples, so I changed it to Vintage Dreams. Well I do like the 50's era, with all the "petticoated" women and all that black and white stuff. In fairness to the maker or "author" of the original skin, I liked the lay-out (it's simple and navigation is easy) so I retained it (thanks to whoever you are!).
So if you guys would like to say somethin' or react to my new lay-out, please write a comment on this post. I would appreciate them soI can improve my blog (my journal).. :)

u know why?
U know why I can't stay? The more time I spend talking to you, the more I get hurt. I can't move on while you're still there. Siguro dati I can't live without you by my side kaso ngayon.. Iba na. The more time I stay, the more bad thoughts. Thoughts of getting you back. I don't want that. I don't want to ruin your relationship. You're happy now.
That's why I can't stay. I need to find my own happiness.
That's why I can't stay. I need to find my own happiness.
Im watching me make a fool of myself
Silently speaking my wish to be free
Turning my world inside out
Spin my emotions building my doubt
I fed on this strangeness plain and true
But there was nothing beneathe it i knew
I see myself falling falling from grace
My life fading without grace
Im tired of waiting here fo you
Cant waste my time, im leaving you
Im watching me make a fool of myself
Silently speaking my wish to be free
Turning my world inside out
Spin my emotions building my doubt
And now that youve taken the world out of me
Im left with my body hanging free
As lovers come and comfort me
Im still left with my misery
Im tired of waiting here fo you
Cant waste my time, im leaving you
Im leaving you...
Silently speaking my wish to be free
Turning my world inside out
Spin my emotions building my doubt
I fed on this strangeness plain and true
But there was nothing beneathe it i knew
I see myself falling falling from grace
My life fading without grace

Saturday...
Now for some real post. :p
===========================================
So it's Saturday today. Plans? Hmm, I don't know, after posting this i'll be sleeping again till 12 noon. Cook lunch, eat and sleep till my mom comes home. I plan to sleep the whole day. There. I want to be as unproductive as a sloth. Simple as that. I'm so tired from the past sem and I want to reclaim all my sleep.
Good thing I'm home alone. Hahaha... Nobody would bother my beauty rest. :)
===========================================
I got my graduation pix yesterday. They came out ok, besides the fact that I looked like a chinese. My eyes are all puffed and small. Wahaha. Goodness. I gave 2 copies (informal and sablay pose) to my bestfriend and 1 to my aunt (creative pose). I don't know what to do the rest, probably I'll give my friends my signed photo (holy sh*t!, feeling!) and the rest, oh well, I do need to go out today. I want to buy some nice frames for my pictures. Maybe after lunch I'll be going to SM Southmall to find frames. I got one 8R toga pose na nakaframe na kaso I don't know where I'll place it kasi we don't have this special place from framed photos. My brother doesn't have his yet and my parent's photos are at their respective province. So yung akin pano? Tago ko na lang muna. :) Ayoko ngang i-post dito yun. Nakakahiya. :) Hehehe....
===========================================
So yun lang. Ala naman na akong makuwento eh. I'm so looking forward to our Bolinao trip. Hay. Sana! :)
I'm gonna sleep some more....
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hay
I just got back from Diliman. Thank God Kuya Knong was not mega, super lang, mad at me. I saw them this afternoon, almost lifeless na. As in puro bula na and the medium was so dirty (mukhang sabaw na ng nilaga 'yung PES medium). So what did I do the whole afternoon? I tried to revive our specimens. Oh merde! Thank goodness they're still alive!
Hay.
So tomorrow (Friday), instead of coming to the batch overnight, itutuloy ko ang paglilinis ng seaweed. Preciousssssss! Hahaha. Ok na rin yun, I kinda like what I'm doing there dahil kahit paano I'm preoccupied, sabi ko nga dati, hindi stagnant. Plus, I'm counting the days for our diving trip, not in Calatagan.... But in BOLINAO! Yup! Sa Bolinao na kami hahanap ng cultures! Yay! BOLINAO = Cultures + BEACH!
Damnit. Sana next week na yun. :))
===========================================
I want to learn how to surf. I'm planning to go to Surigao next year (summer) to catch some serious waves! Kaso paano naman ako matututo? Saan ako magppractice? Sa baha ng Padre Faura? Pwede..... Why not?! Hehe. Andami ko talagang gustong gawin! I want to know how to drive a go-kart, play guitar, photography! Dami talaga! Hay. Sana magawa ko silang lahat someday! :))
===========================================
I don't want to be in a commitment pala right now. I don't know, I just realize this: I enjoy being single! Plus the fact that marami nga akong gustong gawin, baka pag may labi dabi na ako di ko na sila magawa! (malay mo, di pareho yung likes namin) Hayy.... :) If ever I want to be in a relationship, gusto ko friends muna, as in parang bestfriends kung pwede. Aprub! Hehe.. Saka sa susunod, gusto ko yun na. I want everything to go smoothly as possible. Ayoko ng iiyak ako ng sobra. Ayoko na ng lolokohin ako. Gusto ko ako yung number #1. May tinatamaan ba? Bato-bato sa langit, ang tamaan.... well... no comment! Hahaha! Just kidding. :)
===========================================
O iyon muna ulit. I'm kinda sleepy na. Punta pa ako ng MSI tomorrow. :) Nyt nyt mah readers. :)
Ingat sa mga batchmates ko! I'm sorry I can't come! :) Baka bumula na naman ang seaweeds namin. :)

Damn it...
I want to go to our batch outing. Hay.
Damn it. Kung may kikidnap sa akin, pramis. Sasama talaga ako.
Sembreak
Hmm. I came back from a long hiatus. Hay. So where do I begin?
=========================================
First off, I'm planning to change this lay-out. I'll probably start a new one during my free time. I found a nice lay-out to edit actually, but alas, my ever-demanding course forbids me to do so. Oh well, just wait for the freakin' updates, a miracle might happen you know.
=========================================
Yesterday on my spare time, I watched "If Only" on my brother's pc. If you're wondering why I watched that on pc and not on the VCR like some sensible person would do, well the answer is that I bought a stinkin' pirated copy of the movie and it's not compatible with our "original" VCR. It just skips when I play it there, but lo and behold when I tried it on my brother's pc, it worked! Yay! Eureka! Wohoo! (I really didn't scream for joy because it would be too darn silly.)
So I watched it. And you know what did I learn?
Never ever watch romantic movies when you have a non-existent lovelife or if your heart is recently crushed to bits by some dumb jerk. In my case, I fall on the first option. Boy oh boy, I cried so hard that my brother laughed hard (you see, our emotional statuses are very inversely proportional or ABI = HAPPY, BROTHER = SAD, ABI = SAD, BROTHER = HAPPY, we are twisted people with hippie parents). Seriously, I liked that movie, even if there are some cheesy lines (if you're an anti-romance, you'd probably puke while hearing those lines).
Honestly, I don't like to write the summary/plot, just type: "If + only + Jennifer + Love + Hewitt" on Google and probably you'll see a webpage solely devoted on giving much information about the movie.
Although I kinda predicted what was gonna happen in the end, I still liked the movie. It left me wishing that somebody out there would find me and love me like there's no tomorrow. Hay. It's a sad movie actually but you'll learn a lot of things about what love means. Hay. Just Love Her. Damn. I so want a boyfriend right now. Hahaha. Just kidding.
=========================================
So there. I really want to watch "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" but i'm too broke. Anyone who'd be willing to GIVE me some money? Ha! Like somebody here is stupid to do that. :) Hmm.. I'd just probably wait for its DVD copy in Quiapo. Arrrrrr! (Oh no! I sound like a pirate! Shiver Me Timber! Arrrr!)
=========================================
I'll probably be starting to work on my thesis tomorrow. Hehe. To all mah batchmates out there: Mga pare! Ala akong pera for the batch overnight kina Stephie!
=========================================
Oh well. I'm out. Peace everybody. I love you all (No I don't mean I do LOVE you ALL. Mamaya may mag-text sa akin ng: I love you too! Pakasal na tayo. --> This would be very very freaky.)

Dumb idea...
Enfer...
Debauchery

A laid-back Sunday
I just got back from Makati. As usual, I accompanied my mom to get my dadi's padala in Intercon. While waiting, I saw alot of foreigners in the hotel lobby. Most of them are with... yup. Filipinas. Quite obvious yung mga couple na ganun dahil usually Americans (big-bellied, mid-40s, medyo bald) are paired off with petite Filipinas na di mo alam kung saang 80's party pupunta (kulang na lang eh fishnet stockings at qualified na sila sa isang psychedelic party).
Actually, I felt bad for them. Dahil karamihan sa kanila, sumasama lang just for money and in some cases, para makaalis dito sa Pinas. Although I shouldn't generalize dahil I've fallen with a semi-foreigner na din not so-long-ago (isingit ba ang lovelife?). Pero it seems yung era ng Clark girls are back again. Pero what to do? With our current situation?
Badtrip. If those politicians focused more on how to resolve our economic crisis rather than fight in Congress di sana di tayo naghihirap. Hay. As in major crap.
==============================
Before my BP reach 150/100, i'm just gonna change the topic. Hay. So I went to Makati. Blah-blah about the Americans and fishnet.... We went to Glorietta (favorite place ko na!) to get my Laking National card sa NBS. Ayun. Ang tanga ko kasi, sa Glorietta pa ako nag-sign up for that stoopeed card. Nakuha ko naman siya tas yung mom ko saw a cookbook, eh habang nibabasa nya yung cookbook nakita ko yung Twisted 7 by Jessica Zafra. Eh I was craving for a good book para nababasa ko sa byahe punta sa Diliman. Ayun, so I ended up buying the book. Kaso, binasa ko agad! Badtrip! Haha. Kaka-engross siya basahin. Fun yung book niya. I'm in page 71 na ata. 1st time kong makabasa ng Twisted so di ko papahiram yung book. Sorry sa mga nagbabalak manghiram. Akin lang si Jessica! Uh-oh, I sounded like an obssessed lesbo.
==============================
Another lighter side of my life, while I was in Intercon, na-wiwi ako. So syempre, natural instincts, punta ako sa CR. My mom didn't come with me kasi wala nga namang magbabantay sa groceries. Ayun, when I opened the door ng cr, may lalaki! Shit. Shit raised to infinity.
Talk about being scarred for life. Come to think of it, may isusulat na ako sa Most Embarassing Moment sa mga slumbook. "I accidentally went inside the Men's CR." (in it's neatness and boldest penmanship pa dapat...!)
Haha. I'm still lucky because I didn't see a man pee. Ha! I still got virgin eyes. Hahahahahahaha.
==============================
Anyway, I still need to do some things pa.
Nyt y'all. :)
Post-script: Hi Boyet! :) (Hmm... Sino si Boyet? Hahaha)

Rain..
Enter the star of the movie
(Cue music: Mr. Lonely)
I walked in the rain a while ago.
I didn't like it.
I don't have enough money for a tricycle ride.
I wanted to cry.
Every flooded street I came across, my tears welled-up.
I just controlled myself so I can go home.
My pants were soaking wet and my feet were drenched.
As soon as I got home, I changed my clothes.
While changing 'em, I cried inside the wash room.
I cried because of sadness and loneliness.
I'm full of that.
Tao lang ako.
I'm really hurt.
=(

Life goes on...
A year ago, I wrote an entry about having this "feeling" with this guy. At that time, I was happy telling everybody about him, how great he was, the things I loved about him.
A year after, we decided to part our ways.
I feel no remorse or guilt inside my heart.
I'm all cried out na that's why.
I've shed all my emotions and i'm feeling numb.
Numb as ever....
Call it "not-meant-to-be."
But that's how life works.
You meet someone, if God forbids, you end up together.
If not, you end up like us.
Hei.
If you're reading this.
Just don't mind me.
I'm just telling how I feel.
You don't need to feel bad for me.
Life goes on...

Paranoid
I didn't want to go to school this morning because I want to sleep all day. I want to mope all day and just pig-out. But due to certain circumstances, like I need to submit my research to my groupmates and I need to attend my classes (yes, even if it's just STS). I arrived there by 9:20ish already and I already missed Jeff's undergrad sem. Booo for me. I wanted to go there to boost his morale. Jeff, if you're reading this, sorry! :(
By 10 am I went to my classroom in STS. When I got there, there was nobody inside and the room was locked. I thought that it was a sign so I went to our school's cafeteria and saw Jessa and Abi Cis there. I decided to cut classes because I wasn't really "in the mood" anyway. So there. A few minutes later, I saw a crowd of people in front of the RH steps. I saw some of my classmates and batchmates there, so I got curious. I waited for them to come and tell me why there's a commotion. I don't recall who told me but I learned that there was a bomb threat on our school. Ah wait. I know who told me. It was Joe who told us that shocking (?) news. I told him: "Ay naku, ikaw ata ang maghuhubad kaya lahat ng tao nagtago!"
I didn't take that bomb threat very seriously because in 4 years of stay in UP Manila, a bomb threat was not new to me. This was the 3rd time for me actually. The first time was very dramatic since I was just a first year student. I really didn't know that it was a bomb threat 'yung second time ko. All I knew was na-suspend yung classes namin tas we ended up in G-box. Tas itong third ko nga ngayon. Ha. Ayaw ko na ngang umalis ng school. I even wanted to see flying corpse and disembodied figures crashing sa CAS eh. Ha.
Some crazy student will call their phone and scare them all. His reason? Ayaw lang nyang mag-exam. Ha!
There were media people who went sa UPM para kuhanan ang mga weirdong estudyante. Nakita pa ata ako dun eh. Hay. Life.

Tradition
Yesterday was my bestfriend's birthday. I went there by 7 and gave her an oh-crap birthday gift. I burned her a copy of MYMP's album, how bad can I get? Well first, I thought twice of going there (but of good reasons) and my crappy gift. Compared to what her boyfriend gave her, hmm, it was a pair of FIla white rubber shoes! Crap. I didn't even wrote a letter to her or something. I'm feeling really bad so I'm thinking of doing good or something like that to make-up for my crappy and shitty behavior that day.
Today is my brother's birthday. What's new? Nothing. We just ate something special. Nothing festive. Well, xcept for the fact that I went to school wearing my almost-micro-mini skirt. Damn it. A lot of people gave hell different reactions when they saw me.
Pat Sumi told me: Mahal kita! (He followed that line with: bilang kaibigan! after Dhess said: "Busdie!"). Oh and he also said: Magkano ka? Nice..... I can pass for an entertainer.
April commented also. I juz forgot what she told me.
Carol let out a yelp. And told me: "Ikaw ba talaga yan?" Haha. Thanks. It's my alien twin, Carol. Please bear.
Reiz commented: Dapat nag-sleeveless ka na din. Waw. Note to thy self.
Judith commented: I like your skirt! Haha. Judith, you don't know what I did just to have this skirt.
Ron commented: Ate gusto mo ng survey? *Survey was about contraceptives.
EJ commented: Ang cute cute mo! Damn.
Vivian commented: Are you in love? Ha! No comment.
Take note, skirt pa lang yun. Wahahahaha. (Evilish laugh)
I won't wear that evil skirt in school. I'm not quite ready yet. Hahahahaha. Yah right. Lies!

Lyrics
Crying Like a Church on Monday
New Radicals
I was dancing
With your shadow
Slow down memories hallI said, wait. have I been seduced and forgotten?
You said, baby, havent we all!
Now I dont like crying
Because it only gets me wet
But I cant help failing
To remember to forget you
And I know its gonna be a long time
And Im crying like a church on monday
Praying for these feelings to go away
So do me a favor baby
Put down your new god
And love me like sunday again
I was hiding in your bedroom
When I saw him come inside
I cant live in his shadow
Is that where Im dancing untill I die
Now I dont light candles
Because they make me see the light
That I cant help failing
To remember to forget you
And I know its gonna be a long time
And Im crying like a church on monday
Praying for these feelings to go away
So do me a favor baby
Put down your new god
And love me like sunday again
=============================
Am I gonna be forever a nobody in yer life? Am I gonna wait for you? For how long? So many questions....
But hei. I'm still here. Just a friend....

Yifee
On my way home, I thought of posting a very serious entry here. But what I saw along the way made me changed my mind.
Paglalakbay ng Isang Baliw
Unang Scenario: Ang epal na kunduktor
Pauwi na ako galing Diliman. As usual, haggard na haggard na ako at mukha na talaga akong adik sa sobrang pagod. As usual, ang buhok ko ay mukha na namang before shot ng Rejoice commercial.
Badtrip.
Pangalawang Scenario: Bombay, India
Tas sobrang siksikan! Pinaghalo-halong amoy putok, pawis, utot, lansa... Basta!
Pangatlong Scenario: Ang Dyipni
Pangalawa konng napagtripan: Tawagin natin siyang "Inday"
:)

Pangalawang Scenario: Bombay, India
Tas sobrang siksikan! Pinaghalo-halong amoy putok, pawis, utot, lansa... Basta!
Pangatlong Scenario: Ang Dyipni
Pangalawa konng napagtripan: Tawagin natin siyang "Inday"

Unfortunate?
Yesterday when I was on my way home, an old lady sat beside me. She was about 70ish and decent-looking. She talked to me and told me why the bus had stopped in front of the Census building. She told me that the conductor missed to board our bus in Buendia. I laughed and I told her: "Sa lahat naman ng maiiwan nung Driver, 'yun pa pong kunduktor!" She laughed after I said that. When we reached Baclaran, she told me that she came from the US Embassy and that she was processing some papers for her pension. I asked her if where she came from and told me that she was from San Fernando. I was surprised, not by the fact that an old lady is travelling by herself, but the fact that she's going the wrong way (she was going to SM Southmall). I asked her why she's going to SM. And her long story begins.
She went to the US Embassy this morning because she had an appointment by 8:45 am. After paying $200 of processing fee, she was ready to go back to San Fernando. But when she was walking, some guy placed his arm on her shoulder and greeted her: "Hi Lola!" She told me that she thought that this guy knew her. Being an old lady, and not seeing the danger, she agreed to walk with the strange-guy. When they reached the church (I think it's infront of Remedios), the guy took out a knife and ask the old lady to give him everything that she had at the moment. She can't do anything but to give the guy her wallet (containing 5, 300 pesos and ATM Card) and her cellphone. She even begged the thief to give her at least 300 pesos for her to buy some food and for transportation fare back to San Fernando. But the thief refused and told her: "Sorry lola, pero kailangan ko din po kasi ng pera eh." What a jerk! Lola just told me: "Hindi naman ako ang kakarmahin, kung hindi siya."
I really don't know what happened to her after I got down at RFC. She was going to Southmall to try her luck. She has no close-relatives here in the Metro, and she was looking for her far-far cousin there. I asked her if she knew her number, so I could text or call that person, but alas, being old and her cellphone being lost. Hay. I just gave her my last 20-buck. I wanted to offer more but that was the last money I got at the moment. I caught a glimpse of her in the window, waving. I felt very, very bad for her.
After posting this entry, please, dear readers, pag-pray natin si Lola.
Or worse, to your family members?
Hay. That's the sad truth of life. Hay.....

Pissed
I'm so pissed off.
Pano kung nagpalit nga ako ng sim, would you even care? Hahabulin mo ba ako?
I've been so nice to you.
And now, I'm tired of being nice.
Just plain tired.
Evil Mode...

Magic Wallet
I dreadfully want a Magic Wallet. If you guys know where to buy one, please, leave a message on my tagboard or comment on this post.
Story
Let me tell you about my day. :)
This morning, I woke up with an aching head. Ganoon talaga ako kapag biglang nagising ng madaling-araw tas matutulog ulit. I looked myself at the mirror. My eyes were droopy and filled with "morining glory", my hair was messed up, and there was dried saliva on the side of my mouth. For short, I looked horrible. But I was too lazy to fix myself up. I wanted to go back to bed but my mom won't let me. She was having visitors and she asked me if I could help my aunt clean the house. I had no choice so after I ate breakfast (one measly hotdog, half fried egg and rice), I went upstairs to fix my beddings (actually I changed 'em this morning) and ran the floor polisher on the floor. After sweeping all of our rooms upstairs (family room, my room and my parents' room), my mom announced that her "buwisitas" won't be able to come because their classes were suspended and it was raining outside. Waw. All that effort. On the bright side, my room is squeaky clean (dust and kalat-free!) na. Yay.
I spent the rest of the morning watching t.v. It's a habit of mine to watch re-runs and cartoons every Saturday morning (Spongebob by 8 am, Scrubs and The Simpson's in Star, Nick shows...) I know, it's an uncontrollable and bad habit but what can I do? I have nothing else to do and Saturday is my only rest day. Kaya walang pakialamanan! Hehe.
After watching Gothika at channel 42, I ate lunch with the fam. As usual, my mom cracked jokes and had the usual talk every meal. If you're wondering where's my brother, well he's not here. He's having this seminar or training in Informatics. I dunno kung para saan. Basta wala siya. At masaya ako dahil walang kaagaw sa T.V. at sa pc. Yay!
I finally took a bath after lunch. We're supposed to fetch lola from my aunt's house kaya mega-kulit siya na maligo na daw ako at magbihis. So I did. I fixed myself and wore a white collared shirt and my "oh-so-special" mini skirt. Yup you heard me right. I own a MINI SKIRT. I only wear it whenever I feel wearing it and nobody in school has seen me in it. Ha! Conservative pa ba ako?! Hahaha!
I thought we're going to ATC or SM pero we ended up in Uniwide. Yay. What joy (not). Uniwide is like WallMart in States. They sell almost everything at low, low price! (I could be their spokesperson). I just bought 2 erasers (for only 4 pesos!) because I didn't bring my wallet with me. We ate at Jollibee and went window-shopping. Buti pa si Lola andaming nabili. She bought 2 scarfs (@ 15 pesos each), 2 shorts (@ 50 pesos each), 1 pair of sandals (for 140 pesos). Tas we went to Val & Vhon's Arcade dahil sa akin. I played Time Crisis II there. Whenever I'm at Uniwide, I play Time Crisis tas pag asa Value point (another shopping center near our place), I play basketball. Imagine a girl in mini skirt, being all sweaty and all just because of an arcade game. Haha. Well that's me. I'm not that all-kikay girl, unlike my classmates (LeeAnn, hmmmm... No offense!)
Ayun, after spending 15 pesos worth of tokens, we decided to go home. Hay.
'Yun po ang social life ko. Ang magpunta sa mga arcade. Joke. I don't like going to bars and I don't have a very "active" night-life. Paminsan-minsan lang pag tinopak. I don't drink and I don't smoke kaya I can't stand being inside a bar. I don't have a lot of friends na mahilig gumimik kaya lagi akong asa bahay. I don't like dancing kaya you won't definitely catch me inside a club. I love to sing kaya minsan (on special occassion), makikita niyo ako sa g-box with blockmates. Tas I don't have a freaking boyfriend na makaka-date. I watch movies din pero di madalas. Mapili ako. I like art films and romance (but not jologs type). Ayun. I spend my time, either sleeping, writing, studying or reading. Yun. That's me. That's who I am. And if you find me boring, sorry, but the word boring is very subjective. I enjoy being myself. :)

Congrats
To all UPM Bio Seniors: Congrats! Galing niyo guys! Hehehe! Weee!
Ayun. Galing ulit ako ng MSI. Oh well, what's new!?? Hehe. May experiment ata ulit kami. Weee! Sana yun na nga yun. I have my fingers and my toes (as if kaya) crossed. Pero wag munang magbilang ng sisiw! Basta, we're gonna do our very very asceptic (nyahaha) best para maayos na namin yung protocol and at the same time maka-move on na kami sa somatic hybridization. Mukha na akong thesis! Wehehe. Twice pala kaming magpopropose! Haha.. As if nahirapan ako today.
Hay. Maging cynical na nga lang ulit ako.
Ayun.. :) Basta, next time ulit try kong mag-post! :)

Yay for eyebags
Sorry for not updating this blog last week. I was so busy! Lagi akong madaling-araw umuuwi tas last Thursday nag-overnight pa kami ni Ralph sa MSI. Hay. Kahit nga medyo nakatulog na ako, I feel so tired pa din. Tired pero medyo happy kasi our hard-work paid-off with “tentative" results. Tentative kasi we’re still not sure if we succesfull isolated protoplasts na. Wait. Sana ineexplain ko muna yung thesis namin di ba??
Yung thesis namin is entitled: “Isolation of protoplasts from Gracilaria” Yung Gracilaria eh red seaweed na locally available. Basta.
Super accommodating sila tas tinutulungan pa kaming i-figure out kung paano namin gagawin yung thesis. Hay.
===========================
P.S. May mamimiss ako sa MSI... :) Si Larry (nag-maMasteral ata yun dun eh! :)))). Hush-hush lang yun a. Bait na cute pa. Hehe. :) Crush! ^__^

Stress!
I need to go-go again to Diliman again yo! Karir na ito! Hehe.
By Wednesday, I will miraculously appear to the people of UP Manila. Hehe.. :)

Waw Thesis!
I went to U.P. Diliman yesterday to start our thesis. I went to UP Manila first, in search for a chinese paintbrush and to help a bit on our Microbio poster. I left at 8 am and took a busride to Philcoa. I got off at National Bookstore - Quezon Ave. to buy a chinese paintbrush. I took a jeepney ride to Philcoa (since Quezon Ave. is still far from Philcoa) and boarded another jeep to U.P. campus. I got there at 9:20 am and saw 2 biochem students from UPM passing by MSI (maybe they're also doing their thesis in Diliman).
By 10 am, me and Ralph (thesis partner) were cleaning the heck out of those filthy, filthy seaweed. I thought we're gonna leave early, but no! It was harder than we thought! We were tasked to scrape off the epiphytes (small roots which are attached to the body of the seaweed) and other debris (i.e., lumot, barnacles) by means of our bald (cut) paintbrushes. If you think that's piece of cake, you're so wrong. It's like plucking your eyebrows only in reduced size. That's not the fun part yet! We need to fill 10 containers of seawater with clean seaweeds! What a nightmare!
We took a break by 3 pm. Me, Ralph and Janis went to U.P. Coop to take our lunch. My knees were already shaking and my thumb was very very numb at that time. To make things worse, it rained. Good thing, though, I brought an umbrella. So me and Janis used my umbrella and Ralph decided to make a run for it. Janis made fun of Ralph, she said that Ralph ran like a cartoon character. Hehe. So much for our break, we got back to work when we got in.
We finished cleaning the seaweeds by 6 pm. I began my long journey home (commuting to Las Pinas from QC is so damn tiring). I got home by 8 and slept at around 10 pm. I woke up at 12 and slept after texting someone.
I woke up at 8 am and went to church this morning. Hay. So tired.
Tomorrow, we'll be going to UPD to continue our thesis. Hay. Kahit pagod ako tas super stressed, masaya pa din ako kasi kahit paano I feel fulfilled. Hindi ako stagnant and I don't feel useless. :)

Supah Tired
I'm supah tired yesterday. Why oh why?? At 7:00 am I finished working-out and at 7:30 I was watching my shows. By 8:00 am I went to my room and checked my fone for messages. That's where the fun begins. Ralph (my thesis partner) texted me this: "Kita tayo msi at 10 am" Huwaaat? I guess it slipped my mind that I was going to UPD that day to finalize our thesis proposal with Kuya Knong. Sh*t!! It would take me at least 2 1/2 hours to go there and it's already 8 am! I quickly bathed, changed my clothes and left. I got there at 10 am sharp. But unfortunately, Kuya Knong was sick and thought twice of not going to MSI. We only knew that by 11 am. I can't stay there any longer because I have a class in Manila by 2:30, plus the fact that I haven't made my assignment for that subject! So I hurried off and boarded two trains (MRT to Taft Ave. and LRT to UN Ave.) to go to school immediately. Good thing that April texted me stating that she was writing my assignment for me. I arrived at UPM by 12:30 and I finished writing my assignment (in GAB roofdeck! Imagine the flight of stairs I went through!). After all those shenanigans, I was really really tired. But I can't go home at that time because Prof. Dalet (our RadBio prof) told us to attend a seminar in LT. The seminar drained the hell out of me. At 4 pm, I was really really tired. My head was swaying inside the bus. I needed my bed. So by 7:30 pm, I hit the sack and slept not minding the fact that I needed to read 11 more pages of my molecular cell bio notes.
Good thing my class today was only up to 11:30. I went home after eating lunch with my blockmates. After posting this entry, I'll be reading the rest of my notes and make a report on STS. I might not be able to eat dinner later since my brother is out and probally will go home at 11 pm or so and my mom and aunt is at the province (they'll be in tomorrow pa). Hay. Lonely? Not quite. For you see, it's my grandfather's death anniversary today, and I'm feeling extremely lucky. You know what I mean, right?
Good luck to me. :'( wah!

Pictures
I wrote here yesterday that I'll be going to makati. But what I didn't write here is that I'll be bringing my trusty camera to take pictures of places that I saw and went to. I decided to post it here rather than flickr because I reserve that web space for more memorable experiences. :)

Fascade of Intercon. We went to Intercon before anything else. Dadi sent us dried fish, garlic, ink cartridge and chocolate wafer. My dad works as a planning officer for a telecommunication company in Bahrain. He's not a fisherman, the weather there is just suited for drying fish so he send us "tuyo" once in a while. :)
Girls' Comfort Room in Intercon. My mom loved the interior design of their c.r. It's so clean and fresh-smelling inside! i wish every c.r. in our school would look and smell like this c.r! (I wish!)
Painting near the elevator in Intercon. I don't know who painted this picture but it's a very nice picture and it's location is suited because it blends well with the lighting of the hotel.
Waiting in Vain. I waited for my mom in the lobby. She went upstairs to Tita Ofel's room to get my dad's package. After I took this picture, 2 Indian men sat with me. I hate their perfume! Ughhh... I'm so glad my mom came after a few minutes.
Oakwood Towers. Good thing we didn't go to makati when the "Magdalo" troops planted bombs around this area and held innocent people hostage. After the incident, business went on as usual. Yay for capitalism! Hehe.
Twin towers? Two buildings that are identical, what else would you call it? E di, twin towers. Hehe.
Seeing double?? Another identical buildings. I'll have to ask my mom pa their names. Hehe... :) For the meantime, Twin towers part 2 siya. :)
Mc'do Poster. We ate merienda at McDo. My mom ordered 2 cheeseburger meal. Burp! Busog! Paparapapap... Love ko 'to!
SM Supermarket. Who wants veggies? I do!
Signage near Landmark foodcourt. Looks familiar? Hehe. :)
Bewitched poster. Look at Will Ferrel hanging at Nicole's broomstick! I want to watch this film... Hay!
Taekwondo Competition. There were a lot of people in the Glorietta Activity Center because there was a taekwondo competition being held there. 45-45, in-out, out-in, side kick, cha! Chaaaaa!
Neon lights. It was already 'round 6:30 pm when me and my mom decided to call it quits. We went home with smile on our faces and this pictures in my cam. :)

Yar-har
I've setup my Flickr! account but I have no great photos yet to share to you peeps. :)
I got home at 6 pm (I think) with very sore vocal cords. Why?? I don't need to talk all day because: a. I just had an exam in microbio. You're not supposed to blab when you're taking an exam. b. We had our pre-lab in micro lab. Everybody knows that you're not supposed to talk when somebody is already talking. So why in the world did I end up with sore vocal cords? The answer is very very simple. Non-stop talking with sylvia on our way home. Once our butts touched our seat we never stopped talking. Talking 'bout what you may ask? So many stuffs like the cartoons she watches every morning in GMA, the news, biases, B'witched, exams, thesis, traffic, the rain, almost anything that we think during that time we talked about it. Too bad, I was the first one to reach my stop. We have so many things to discuss. Hay. There will always be a next time to continue our chit-chat. :)
I'm still wearing my jeans right now. No, I'm not lazy to change. It's too cold and my jeans are keeping me warm. But of course, I can't wear it to sleep (except if I'm too tired or I'm too drunk) (damn). Maybe I'll change after I write this entry. Hehe. :) Yah know what? I think I got exposed to a sleep-inducing bacteria or yeast or mold. I can't help myself but sleep early! It's been a week now and I'm blaming some bacteria, isn't that weird? I think the weather should be blamed for my actions. Ho-hummm... There I go again! But I love it cold than hot. Although I can't go to the beach and enjoy the sand and swim, I prefer my body sinking into my bed, wrapped around in a warm, comfy blankie and dozing off to some relaxing sound. Don't get me wrong, although I love cold, I don't like being splashed with flood water and being soaked in the rain. I'm very much susceptible in having colds and flu. And I hate it when my nose drips. Yoookiie! Hehe. I'm so weird! Hehe. :)
I still have hmmm.. 2 exams next week before biogyugan! I'm really excited! It's one week of pure fun, excitement and healthy (yah right) competition. Hehe. :) Besides, during bioweek, professors are not allowed to give exams and give our a hard time. It's our only freaking time to freaking socialize with other people. Hehe..
====================
I was supposed to post this entry yesterday, Friday, August 12, 2005. Unfortunately, my brother needed to use this computer to do his "thesis" work. He'll be having his defense later (today is already Saturday): 3-5 pm. Oh well, good luck to him!
My mom was rushed to the hospital while I was sleeping. She came back already and feeling a wee-bit better. Her blood pressure surged to 140/90 and I believe the "kapeng" barako she drank was the culprit. She's not suppose to drink those stuffs! I quit drinking coffee since last sem. Caffeine is very bad for your health! Not to mention eyebags! *Shriek!* Believe me. Last sem, I had to drink 5 cups of coffee each test night to keep my nerves alive and kickin.' Sure it helped me cram, but the down-side of it is: I had frequent headaches, I was dizzy, I had poor attention span, I had low energy during the day, I was physically drained and I was sick almost all of the time.
I don't have any cravings for coffee now. I'm trying to change my habit of cramming and studying in advance. Hay. I don't want to look like a zombie after I graduate! I still need my health for med! Hehe.
Speaking of med, I watched "Scrubs" this morning in Starworld. It's a t.v. series about the life of med-interns. I really loved it because somehow, it gave me an idea on what to expect in med school. :)
What are my plans for the day? I'm gonna go with my mom to makati and meet Tita Ofel (stewardess in Gulf Air) in Intercon to get some things that my dad sent us. I don't think we'll be loitering (haha) in Glorietta or SM because as what I've said earlier, my mom is still not feeling very well. Important matters first! :)
I can see my hits counter. I don't think I can make a story muna. I have things to do, books to study and papers to write. I promise, I'll make one after all the hibbie-jibbies in school. :)
That's all for now... :)
P.S. I didn't see my crush yesterday. Sigh! :(

Ballpen
No post.. Picture lang! :)

Cute no? I bought these pens in Uniwide a while ago. They cost only 5 pesos each! Bargain! :)
I was gravely distracted by the arcade in Uniwide. I played 3 games of Time Crisis I there. Yay!

Cool
I didn't come to class today because of the following raisons:
1. It's raining hard. I don't like to be soaking wet and you know what rain brings to commuters like me.
2. I have a fresh nasty cut on my heel. I'm afraid I might be infected with leptospirosis if I dip my precious feet on flood water.
3. Laziness. Need I say more?? :)
I'm gonna make it up for my absence by studying hard for micro. :) Hay.... Downside naman, I didn't see my crush today. Hay. :(
Bukas na ulit! :))
Between you and me, I was supposed to go to school in mini skirt. Buti na lang umulan. Haha. :))

Tell Me Where It Hurts
Tell Me Where It Hurts
MYMP
Why is that sad look in your eyes
Why are you crying?
Tell me now, tell me now
Tell me, why you're feelin' this way
I hate to see you so down, oh baby!
Is it your heart
Oh, that's breakin' all in pieces
Makin' you cry
Makin' you feel blue
Is there anything that I can do
[CHORUS:]
Why don't you tell me where it hurts now, baby
And I'll do my best to make it better
Yes, I'll do my best to make those tears all go away
Just tell me where it hurts
Now, tell me
And I love you with a love so tender
Oh and if you let me stay
I'll love all of the hurt away
Where are all those tears coming from
Why are they falling?
somebody, somebody, somebody left your heart in the cold
You just need somebody to hold on, baby
(Give me a chance)
To put back all the pieces
Take hold of your broken heart
Make it just like new
There's so many things that I can do
[Chorus]
[Instrumental]
Is it your heart
Oh, that's breakin' all in pieces
Makin' you cry
Makin' you feel blue
Is there anything that I can do
[CHORUS]
Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me baby

I'm feeling a hell lot better. Why?? Story muna.
I was going to school this morning. I locked the gate and hailed a tricycle.
There was someone inside but I didn't saw who it was.
He had long, bushy legs.
He was carrying a big bag and was wearing shorts and rubber shoes.
I figured he's an athlete of some sort (maybe a basketball player)
Then from the rear view mirror I saw his face.
Familiar face. My heart beat went berserk.
Crush ko!
Of all people, he was the one sitting beside me.
I can see he was looking at me also.
Maybe because I was making side-glances at him.
When the tricycle stopped....
I reached out my hand and gave my fare.
I immediately got off and walked fast.
I didn't look back.
Hayyy...........
Crush!!! ^___^
And now here I am. Fantasizing. He would approach me, offering me a rose while singing MYMP's "Tell Me Where It Hurts." Hayy.......... Siguro I'll melt like a butter under the hot sun. Damn. I like him na! Badtrip. Maybe I like "like" him na. hay. hay. i'm so happy.
wishful thinking: sana makasabay ko ulit siya tom. i'm gonna smile at him talaga! hihihi....

Hiccup
I went to school early because I had a 7 am class with Ma'am Lacdan. I thought I was going to be late because I woke up at 6 am! I'm supposed to leave the house at that time! I just took a bath, had my clothes on and left. To my surprise, I still came in early! Thank goodness. I wasn't feeling very well that morning and honestly, I thought of not attending my first class. But I did! After my class I joined Oliver and Vivian to the canteen. But on my way there, Sir Go called me from the fourth floor of GAB. He told me that I have a letter from DOST. Huwat? Letter from where? It was from DOST. I don't know why the hell will they write me a freaking letter so I went to the department to ask for the said letter. Unfortunately, Ate Malou (secretary of DB) doesn't seem to recall having such letter. So I went to Sir Go and told me about how he found it. I still didn't have it right now but Sir Go promised me that he'll look for it. I'm really disturbed by that freaking letter.
How come they knew my existence in UP Manila?? I never wrote any letter to their office and I can't remember doing anything wrong (in science). And the only person I know that's connected with DOST is my freaking ex-boyfriend who was a DOST scholar in his college days. And why in the world will he send me a letter using DOST? Although he was a jack-ass, I don't think he'd do that to just have a laugh. That freaking letter is driving me nuts. N-U-T-S.
Anyway. I'm really happy because MSI have granted us to work on their lab! Yipee! I really wanted to do a thesis related to Marine Biology. Hay. Goody-goody. :)
The sky still is very dark outside. And unfortunately, as much as I want to go to sleep, I still need to study on STS. I have a super major exam tomorrow and I haven't studied anything yet! Yikes!
Newey, before I end this post, I leave you guys with the song from Keane.
"We Might As Well Be Strangers"
I don't know your face no more
Or feel your touch that I adore
I don't know your face no more
It's just a place I'm looking for
We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a different world
We might as well
We might as well
We might as well
I don't know your thoughts these days
We're strangers in an empty space
I don't understand your heart
It's easier to be apart
We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a another time
We might as well
We might as well
We might as well be strangers
Be strangers
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now

Empty
This morning, I woke up with a heavy heart. I was feeling empty inside. The pain was slowly killing me inside and I tried to fight it by praying hard to God, to please ease the pain. I can't deny it. I'm sinking into the pit of depression. I'm holding on to grief and sadness.
I tried covering it with smiles, laughter and jokes. It was a defense-mechanism I developed to hide my emotions. I'm really tired of wearing a mask. I'm tired of feeling sorry. I'm tired of constantly being hurt over and over again.
Hay.
Hay...

Abi's Birthday
I went to school yesterday at 9 am. The skies were gray and it was very windy outside. The bus was playing some sentimental tunes so I can't help but to be melancholic at that time. When I got out of the bus, the rain was pouring hard. Eventhough I brought an umbrella, I still got soaking wet because of the wind driving the raindrops towards my body and the flood water that was starting to build up in the streets of Taft. Ave. I was shivering when I was waiting for the traffic light to turn red (so I can get across to UP). Then I saw Jessa and offered her to join me in my umbrella (She said I was some kind of savior. I guess I got there at the right moment). I had my micro bio lecture class and we learned about anabolic reactions in E. coli (there, i'm observing the proper way of writing a scientific name). We (me and April) were supposed to report our scientific Journal (but we were very unprepared, because April thought we were batch 3 and I lost my notebook were I wrote our real batch #, blah blah blah...). So what happened? We're going to report this tuesday, and thank God, Prof. Cuevas was an understanding professor. My butt was saved the second time (Remember about my post with Sir Hallare??)
The rain stopped so April , Jessa and I decided to eat out (of school, to rob). We were really hungry (and really bored at the food served at Shakey's) so we decided to eat at Mr. Choi (chinese restaurant near GJ). I ordered Soy chicken topped in asado sauce. Boy oh boy, it was delicious... My meal comprised of soy chicken, cuts of asado pork, rice, blanched pechay, century egg (blech... 'orrible), asado sauce and ginger in olive oil (I love this one). As what I've said, it was very very scrumptious. It was definitely worth my 130 bucks.
Dan-dan and Rachel came to join us but they didn't eat because they already had their lunch at school. Then after we paid our bill and took many weird, candid and pa-cute pictures we left Mr. Choi. We parted ways with Rachel and Dan-dan because they were going to look for sweing thread in the department store (plus, we have lab class at 1pm). On the way to school, I overheard two students having this conversation (not verbatim):
Guy: Buti na lang suspended yung classes..
Girl: Oo nga eh. Tuloy kaya yung exam?
I told April that maybe... those two are from our school and classes are suspended. April (in denial) told me that maybe those two came from UST and UST really suspend classes even if there's only a small amount of rain. Then we saw Odille, Vivian and oh I forgot... They told us that the afternoon class was indeed suspended. We went to school anyway since April's car was parked there. After talking to Marvin we went to Rob to celebrate Abi Cis's birthday. We planned to have a block day-out (the usual G-box shindig).
At G-box we rented a videoke room (as usual) and sang . We finished consuming a whooping amount of 259 pesos (37 tokens in coversion) at 5 pm. But the celebration didn't end there...
Rachel had this idea that me and Abi should sing downstairs. In the dreaded "public videoke" where a lot people are watching you pour your guts out. I was very hesistant at first but gave in (papilit ba?). Abi Cis sang Crazy For You and Fever while I ended up singing our batch song: "It's My Life." I was really nervous when I was singing, nonetheless, my ever-supportive blockmates boosted my morale by taking pictures, shouting and clapping. Yay. What a memorable experience. Haha. Not. I can never go there again. I swear. Haha. At least I got a hundred score. Yay.
So after that embarassing moment, we all went home. Hay. What a day.. :)
======================
I just wanna say thanks to my blockmates (including Dan-dan) for:
2. The laughter.
3. Polvoron.
4. The joy of taking pictures.
and most of all
5. Companionship and Friendship.
You guys are the best. :)

Ode to a friend
This post is entitled: "Ode to a friend"
A friend of mine passed away.
Not literally...
He managed to completely throw out almost 6 years of friendship
Without even thinking of what I'll feel about it.
I was really confused when he stopped laughing
I was really hurt when he stopped talking
I tried asking him what's wrong
But he just shrugged me off
Just this morning I finally realized
Why he suddenly changed
I'm not going to say it here
But my tears fell down like rain
I managed to tell him
But not a word he spoke bout it.

Post for today
I have a declaration to make.
I am the most stupid person here on earth.
Why?
Let me tell you a story. It's not a bedtime story that you folks could tell to your children someday.
I call it: "Story of Stupid Abi"
6:30 pm
I was sitting on my usual place on this certain waiting shed in U.N...
I was waiting for my bus to come.
Actually, any bus bound to BF Pilar, Moonwalk, SM Southmall, kahit tayuan, I would board it.
I replaced the batteries of my mp3 player and held the player in my left hand.
There I was.
Bored.
And very tired. (I came from my 6-hr lab class)
I looked around. (As usual, I observed the people who were waiting just like me)
There was an old man in another panel of the waiting shed.
There were students passing me by. (To ride the LRT maybe)
There were construction workers who were taking their yosi break.
And there I was.
Still bored.
Tired.
And starting to feel restless.
Vroom. Vroom.
The buses went by.
I looked around again.
On my peripheral vision, I saw my bus.
My freaking bus made a U-turn in the slot in front of NBI.
I don't know what got into me.
Maybe out of boredom.
Or maybe out of despair to go home.
I stood up and ran.
Not minding the people on the streets.
I just ran.
And ran.
And ran...
I wanted to board the bus that BAD.
I just kept saying to myself: "I can do this..."
Just like the dog I saw on cartoons this morning.
Adrenaline rushed into my body as I tread the streets of Taft Ave.
I expected to catch it on Padre Faura.
But God has His own way of telling me to stop.
The traffic light went green.
I was so close.
So close...
But I didn't give up that easy.
I continued to run.
Then walk.
And pant.
Pant... Pant... Sweat...
There it was again.
It stopped in front of PGH.
There's my chance...
I decided to run again.
My legs were like worn-out tires. Ready to explode and retire.
I kept running.
Again. God has His own way to stop me.
The traffic light went green again.
I said to myself: "Stupid traffic light!"
But I won't give up.
I was very close.
So I ran as fast as I could....
And you know what happened?
I caught the bus.
FINALLY.
I was breathing hard.
I saw the perfect seat and relaxed.
Minutes later....
I realized how stupid I am.
Why?
I could've just taken a freaking jeep to catch it (From UN to Pedro Gil).
My efforts were equivalent to a 6 pesos-jeepney ride.
Stupidity at its finest.
.FIN.
If you're wondrin' what happened to my mp3 player (I didn't put it in my bag)
I was still holdin' onto it when I boarded the bus.
No mp3 player was hurt in the making of this story.
Amen.
=====================
This is a true-to-life story.
And yes, I am that stupid.
Nyt y'all.

Di sanay
This is supposed to be my post for yestaaarday.
So there I was, minding my own business. Watching t.v. and being a couch tomato when the phone rang. It was for my mom.
Telephone Conversation:
Me: "Hello."
Some girl: "A, pwede po ba kay tita emma?"
Me: "Huh? Wait lang ah. Sino to?"
Some girl: "Classmate po niya."
Me: "Maaaa! Fone po!!!"
Mami: "Sino daw?"
Me: "Classmate mo daw po!"
For some freaking reason, ngayon ko lang to na-realize: "Ang weird!" Why? Baligtad eh. Dapat Yung "me" eh si mami at yung "mami" eh ako dapat. Hay.. Di pa talaga ako sanay ng lahat kami nag-aaral. Oh well. I'll get used to it then. Maybe next month or so. Haha.
I didn't watch CSI last night. Why? I woke up 11:50 pm last night. I set my alarm clock to 9 pm, and apparently... I failed in waking up na naman. Good thing may sunday pa. Haha. Saka ko na lang siya papanoorin. Hehe. Maganda nga raw eh. Darn it. :(
==================
The reason why I didn't published this yestarday because my mom called me for dinner. Tas un. Nakalimutan ko ng mag-online.

I'm gonna annihilate all the goddamn dogs in this freaking neighborhood. I swear.
Hay
I watched My Sassy Girl again. Hay... Ganda-ganda talaga, esp nung sumigaw yung girl sa mountain. Hay. Haay... Wish my love story could be as colorful as their's. :))
I heard Hollywood's going to make a remake of My Sassy Girl. Hay. Hay. Next year ata ipapalabas.
Oh well...

Hay
Potah.
Senti? Weather-weather lang 'yan!
I was lying on my bed a while ago. I was kinda having my sentimental moments. I just can't help it, the weather's very fine and I was listening to Enya's Only Time. While the music was playing I remembered the move "Sweet November." (FYI: Only Time was part of the movie's soundtrack). And in an instant, I remembered myself crying inside April's car. I think it happened last year? We were on our way home na (April's gonna drop me at Sta. Cruz), I was really depressed that time so I had no control of my emotions. It was about my love-life.
Wait.
Pause.
Bakit ko naalala yung pag-iyak ko noong narinig ko yung Only Time?
To those who watched Sweet November, siguro alam niyong hindi "happy" ending 'yung film. The girl didn't grab the opportunity. Opportunity of having somebody who would take care of her (di ba may sakit s'ya) and love her.
In a way, I could relate to the girl. Isa akong malaking DUWAG. First time kong aaminin. Lahat perfect. Kaya for the past relationships that I had (as if madami eh no?), hindi buo 'yung nabibigay ko. Laging may pag-aalinlangan. Laging may dahilan. Lagi akong may nililihim.
It doesn't make sense di ba?
Sana...
Sana lang...
Hindi pa huli ang lahat.
Mahintay mo pa sana ako.
Wait.
Pause.

Ha! Let there be a post!
Despite telling myself this morning that I'm not going home unless I finished reading my bio 150 module, I still went home early today. Let's say I got tired of walking from ALVA to school and it's much much easier to just ride the bus home. Ayun patay na. It's just a couple of meters away from Taft Ave! Bakit ba kasi ang Taft Ave. ay conveniently located in between ALVA and UPM? Haha. Sisihin daw ba ang Highway? Haha. Haha. Haha. My brother's watching MTV and Lindsay Lohan's MTV is on. Damn. I don't like Lindsay Lohan na. She looks like Paris Hilton. I like Lindsay better when she was a red-head. Hay.
Wait. Banzai na. Haha. Nood muna ako. Sooo many disturbanceeeee! Buwiset.

Kantahan Blues
Hmm. It's raining hard outside. There's only one thing in my mind that I need to do. Sleep. Yup. With the emphasis on "need" yun a. Who wants to join me? Haha. B.I. Amp. :)

Bakit mahirap sumabay sa agos
Ng iyong mundo Nagtataka
Simple lang naman sana ang buhay
Kung ika'y matino

Sabihin sakin lahat ng lihim mo
Iingatan ko Ibaling sakin ang problema mo
Kakayanin ko
Pikit mata
Kong iaalay ang buwan at araw
Pati pa sapatos kong suot
Nagtataka

Yifee...
I just want to say: Thanks Sir Hallare for responding to my e-mail. :)) I thought he'll be pissed when I told him that I'm going to change topic for my undergraduate seminar. I wasn't happy with the first one and the literature resources were very limited. Anyway, He approved this one: "Why Asians age slower than Americans." He also gave me an extension or grace period for me to submit my Topic Outline. He said I could submit it this Friday. Yay! Thank God for having a very considerate prof. My butt is saved today!! Hehehe..
Heniweys, I'm going to school later at 12 pm so I'm going to sleep muna ulit. :))

Yifee!
I was listening to Stay by Lisa Loeb on my new mp3 player, when I thought of writing a new post for my blog. So what's new with Abi? I finally bought the mp3 player that I've been dying to buy since last 2 weeks ago. I finally raised 'nuf money for the said gadget. Nope, I didn't buy Match nor Astone because I found a cheaper one in Makro. It cost me 1800 bucks but I'm really happy with it. It's color black and it has 5 different backlights to choose from. It also has this capability to be upgraded and be used as a Mass Storage Device (Flash drive). Besides playing mp3 songs, it can also record voice plus it can store telephone numbers as well! I'm really happy because it's really worth my hard-earned money. If ever something bad happens to it (I hope not), I can return it to the store anytime since they gave me a 1 year warranty for it. Yay!
Hmm, my friend Stephanie called me up this afternoon, asking me if have any ideas for her assignment. She's asking me for an appliance or furniture or any item that can be improved. It's for her Ergonomics class and she's really having a hard time thinking about a very great idea. If you have any ideas or suggections, please leave a message either on my tagboard or in my comments box! Thanks! :)
I really want to say thanks to that someone who texted me this pm. He told me that the song "Akap" by Imago reminded him of me. It made me feel extra special knowing that that somebody is thinking of me after-all. Sigh... :)
Oh my Gulay, It's 9:30 pm already and I'm missing CSI! Oh sorry! I need to end this entry! Bye! Till next time!
Ciao bamibino, bambini!
Hugs to everyone!

Hay..
I'm sooo tired. But I'm glad that some things are working out for me. Lola is out of danger now and she was discharged from the hospital last thursday. Thank God for that.
A lot of things happened to me last week. But as what I've said... I'm soo tired. :p Next time na lang. :)

To my everdearest lola
Ke me okasyon o wala, lagi siyang maayos.
Hay. Buhay nga naman...
Strict si lola sa itsura at pananamit. Gusto niya laging maayos ang buhok, naka-pulbos, mabango, at dapat maayos ang damit. Ayaw niya ng marumi, gusgusin at magulong buhok. Ke me okasyon o wala, lagi siyang maayos.
Hay. Buhay nga naman...

Artsy fartsy weekend
I'll be treating myself to an italian movie this tuesday. My friend Moises (hope I spelled his name right) asked if I'm free this tuesday (no not for a date stupid). He works at CCP as an usher and he told me that CCP will be screening an italian film this tuesday at 4 pm for free. I searched google if it's really true (I don't trust people that easy no? Hehe) and if so, where in CCP will it be held.
So I found out minutes ago that it's true. They'll be showing "I cento passi" or "One hundred Steps" at the CCP Dream Theater. So I invited my mom and my aunt to join me this tuesday. My aunt was hesitant at first because she thought it was another porn flick because she saw me watching "Amelie" and "A Very Long Engagement" (both Italian films by Jean-Pierre Jeunet), which both had *ahem*... very revealing scenes. Nonetheless, I convinced them to join me since the admission is free. Hehe. I'll be posting the details next week if my plan works.
While searching for the schedule of the screening in the net, I found out that there is this certain place in Vito Cruz called "Instituto Cervantes" is showing Spanish films (with English subtitles, of course) every Saturday at 5 pm for free! Wow. If I have a boyfriend (or a fling, or a movie buddy), I'll be there every Saturday.
I'm a sucker for art films and foreign films with english subtitles. I love seeing other countries and I'm really bored with the kind of films shown in movie houses. They show either porn films, sci-fi films (sorry, I'm not a fanatic of this genre), or Asian horror films. The themes are very cliche already and some are just a waste of my hard-earned allowance.
But there is this one film I really want to see. I guess you've seen it advertised in local channels, it's entitled "Pinoy Blonde," a digital film directed by Peque Gallaga starring Epi and Boy2 Quizon. They claim that this movie is not like any other pinoy films. Hmm... It got me curious so if I have extra money by next week, I'll watch it. I'll also tell the details after I watched it.
That's all for now. Ciao!

Events
I am so bored.
Bored.
Bored.
I might go out later. Have coffee and study for microbio exam. Wait. Today is the opening of UAAP, right? Oh well. I'm not going anyway (financial reasons of course).
Bored.
Bored.
I have many things to do but instead of doing 'em, here I am. Moping, doing nothing and being extremely bored. Something is definitely wrong with me. First it was the chinito guys, now being bored eventhough I have loads of "fun" (not) things to do. I am weird. Very weird.
Hay.

Stupidity at its best
Two times in a row abi. Are you that blind or just plain ignorant? Oh no, I'm not talking about love here. I saw two extremely cute chinito guys pass by our house and surprisingly, I didn't turn my back to see where they were going. What's going on with mois? Am I that pre-occuppied to stop and enjoy God's beautiful creations? What's wrong with meeeeeee?

Lyrics
Here's Mariah for y'all.. You know who you are, this song is for yah. :)
We Belong Together
Mariah Carey...
(Ooh, ooh, sweet love, yeah)
I didn't mean it
When I said I didn't love you, so
I should have held on tight
I never shoulda let you go
I didn't know nothing
I was stupid, I was foolish
I was lying to myself
I could not fathom that I would ever
Be without your love
Never imagined I'd be
Sitting here beside myself
Cause I didn't know you
Cause I didn't know me
But I thought I knew everything
I never felt
The feeling that I'm feeling
Now that I don't hear your voice
Or have your touch and kiss your lips
Cause I don't have a choice
Oh, what I wouldn't give
To have you lying by my side
Right here, cause baby
(We belong together)
[chorus]
When you left I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby, please
Cause we belong together
Who else am I gon' lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me on the phone
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
There ain't nobody better
Oh, baby baby, we belong together
I can't sleep at night
When you are on my mind
Bobby Womack's on the radio
Saying to me
"If you think you're lonely now"
Wait a minute
This is too deep (too deep)
I gotta change the station
So I turn the dial
Trying to catch a break
And then I hear Babyface
"I only think of you"
And it's breaking my heart
I'm trying to keep it together
But I'm falling apart
I'm feeling all out of my element
I'm throwing things, crying
Trying to figure out
Where the hell I went wrong
The pain reflected in this song
It ain't even half of what
I'm feeling inside
I need you
Need you back in my life, baby
[chorus]
When you left I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby, please
Cause we belong together
Who else am I gon' lean on
When times get rough

Blog
Random thoughts 101:
1. I'm excited to graduate, but not too excited in going to med studies yet.
2. I have no money, so I'd probably sell my STS cd for 25 bucks a piece.
3. I really want to buy that freakin' mp3 player but my money is isn't enough yet.
4. I have so many things to do, so why am I here?
5. I need to sleep early, I need to look good on my I.D. (harhar, my ID is super delapitated)
6. I.D. + New charger for my fone + Sem dues = expenses
Nyt nyt y'all. :)

I want an mp3 player!
I'm planning to buy an mp3 player. I'm choosing between

In case you're wondering why I'm not considering buying an I-pod, it's because I don not have enough money to buy one (not even an I-Pod shuffle). Match 608 costs 1,850 bucks while Astone costs 2,500 bucks. Both have 128 mb capacity but Astone has a built voice recorder. Hay. I'll still figure it out. Maybe next week, I'll buy one na. Haha. :)
Match 608
and
Astone.
